This programme. in which we use the A.S.A. Diving Badge Scheme Level 1 through to Level 7. This scheme is aimed to train children to learn to dive from scratch.

There are three sessions, two on a Saturday at 12:15pm till 1:00pm, 12:45pm till 1:30pm and one on a Tuesday 5:45pm till 6:30pm.

Your child must be to able to swim in very deep water (diving pit depth is 12ft 6in)

and climb out of the pool without the use of steps.

There are no height restrictions on this programme and it gives children an insight to the some of the training required to be a competitive diver without being under any pressure.

The terms run in line with school terms although normally we do not stop for half term.

We charge £5 per training session in the Learn To Dive Programme, but you are expected to pay for the full term or £5 per session for what is remaining of the term if joining part way through a term depending on how many training sessions there are left of the term.

If you would like your child to have a free taster session with us we can offer them one in any of our sessions, either on a Tuesday or in any one of the sessions on a Saturday (please contact me first to arrange a date) if they then still wish to join “The Lemmings” we can then discuss where there is a suitable vacancy. The divers then, if they reach the required standard and wish to, are invited to join the competitive squads of Albatross, their initial training times will be on a Tuesday 6:00pm till 7:30pm and on a Saturday 10:45am till 12:30am.
